About Sportkoepel Groningen

Sportkoepel Groningen was established in 2014 to represent the interests of grassroots sports clubs in the Municipality of Groningen. As a sports umbrella organization, we provide solicited and unsolicited advice to the Municipal Executive and maintain contact with sports providers, clubs, sports federations, and municipal council factions.

A monthly board meeting takes place during which current dossiers are discussed. The dossiers are distributed among the board members, who work in pairs. The board members also maintain contact with the constituency, the sports clubs in the Municipality of Groningen.
