About Stichting Het Drentse Landschap

Stichting Het Drentse Landschap is opgericht op 11 juni 1934. Ze wil ervoor zorgen dat Drenthe mooi en leefbaar blijft. Dat doet Het Drentse Landschap door het aankopen en goed beheren van (natuur)terreinen en cultuurhistorisch waardevolle objecten als boerderijen en kerken. Ook verzorgt ze educatie en voorlichting over de waarde van natuur, landschap en erfgoed.

Stichting Het Drentse Landschap zet zich in voor de bescherming van de natuur en het erfgoed in Drenthe. Het Drentse Landschap is in 1934 opgericht. De stichting heeft de zorg over meer dan 9.000 hectare natuur, ruim 330 gebouwen, 22 hunebedden en vele archeologische objecten, zoals grafheuvels.
