As a volunteer at the creative studio, you assist in guiding participants who are working on their recovery process through creativity. This means that, when needed, you help participants get started with their creative projects by, for example, offering suggestions and helping them find the right materials in the room. Additionally, you help welcome participants and set up and clear away the room with supplies and tea. During your volunteer work, there is also room to work on your own creative project.

Tasks and duties

As a creative workshop volunteer, you are responsible for:

  • Welcoming people - open the door downstairs and show the way
  • Preparing the room for use
  • Prepare and explain creative materials
  • present various creative possibilities
  • Making tea
  • Light household chores, such as Swiffering, washing dishes, and cleaning toilets prior to the opening of the studio

Working hours (Wednesday and Friday):

  • Morning shift: 09:30 - 12:30 (3 hours)
  • Afternoon shift: 12:30 - 15:30 (3 hours)

Skills and qualities

Who are you?

  • You are a creative person and have experience working with various materials.
  • You create a pleasant atmosphere (possibly with suitable music).
  • You enjoy interacting with different people.
  • You have good social and communication skills
  • You enjoy using your own experiences with creativity and recovery to benefit others.
