Interesting or nice about this vacancy
You work together with a fun team of volunteers on the website senioreninbeeld.nl. During the monthly editorial meeting, we get together in a friendly atmosphere to discuss what has happened and topics to write about. We do this while enjoying some snacks and drinks.
Valuation
Although the activities are voluntary, we would like to reward our volunteers for their efforts. We do this in the following ways:
- Expense reimbursement
- Annual dinner with all volunteers
- Christmas present
Tasks and duties
As a content writer, you gather current affairs or events that are particularly interesting to older adults. You write your articles and/or create reports. Your content is shared on our website senioreninbeeld.nl.
You work independently on your articles at home. The board and other writers are reachable via the app and email should this be necessary. Additionally, we meet once a month to inspire and support each other.
It is also possible to focus on a specific subject such as;
- neighborhood and village activities
- elderly care
- culture & music
- history
- Technology/ICT for seniors
- nature and sustainability
- etc.
Skills and qualities
- Broad interest in news
- Proficient in the Dutch language
- Able to work independently
- Experience with Word or another word processor
- Willing to participate in the monthly editorial meeting
