'As an editor for the street magazine De Riepe, I have the privilege of meeting many wonderful people. I write down their life stories and publish them in De Riepe. In doing so, or at least I believe so, I contribute to a greater understanding of the underrepresented side of society. I give them not only a voice, but also a face. Every human being is worthwhile. We only need to make the effort to want to see every person, above all, as a fellow human being. What could be more beautiful than helping each other a little? My life motto is therefore: If we all hold on to each other, no one will fall over.'
Tasks and duties
Studio SpinLink is a young, dynamic multimedia studio in Groningen and an employment agency affiliated with the WerkPro foundation. Our mission is to offer creative people facing barriers to employment a chance to get (back) to work.
Text is an important part of virtually all the products we create. Much of our focus is on writing copy for the street magazine De Riepe, and this vacancy is specifically aimed at that. As a copywriter for De Riepe, you will be tasked with revising or rewriting texts, conducting and editing interviews, but also writing a text independently.
With us, you can get to work on your creative interests or talents in a safe environment. In addition to writing copy for de Riepe, you are always welcome to contribute ideas for texts for flyers, brochures, magazines, websites, and social media. You will be given the freedom to work on assignments at your own pace. Joining Studio SpinLink is a great opportunity to get back into a work routine, meet other creatives, and gain work experience.
