Trefpunt de Siersteen is the meeting place for seniors in Vinkhuizen. Here, they can enjoy playing billiards, klaverjassen, card games, shuffleboard, and bingo in a friendly club setting. They like to do this while enjoying coffee/tea, soft drinks, or a beer. Therefore, we are looking for a host/hostess who is willing to work behind the bar for one or two half-days a week.
As a host/hostess, you are the face of the meeting place during our activities. You welcome visitors and have a chat. You serve visitors coffee/tea, soft drinks, or beer and handle the payment.
Experience is not required, as you will receive extensive guidance from one of our board members in the beginning. After that, you will work independently during the agreed-upon time slots. Naturally, there is always a backup person available should you need one.
We have a nice small team that ensures someone is present during all parts of the day. Every year we have a nice dinner with everyone, and you receive a nice gift during the various holidays.
Tasks and duties
- Opening and closing the social club
- Welcoming the visitors
- making coffee
- Sale of coffee, tea, soft drinks and beer
- Filling and unloading the dishwasher
- Cleaning tables and vacuuming
Skills and qualities
- You are social and make contact easily.
- You have an active attitude.
