Every Monday morning from 10:30 a.m., a group of people aged 55 and over gathers at the Semmelstee (Corpus den Hoorn). Here, they start the day with a cup of coffee or tea. Afterwards, they get to work together on a creative assignment or workshop. This varies (and surprises) every week: from writing assignments (such as poetry) to workshops in theatre, singing, and dancing.
Every week, there is room for twelve enthusiastic people aged 55 and over from the Corpus den Hoorn and Hoornse Meer area.
Due to the departure of our regular volunteer, we are looking for:
Project leader Monday Morning Muse.
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who wants to be both a driving force and part of the group. Someone who brings energy, connects people, and helps shape the Monday mornings — brainstorming content with the group and taking the lead in the organization. So that there is something creative to start the week together every time.
Tasks and duties
You:
- Know what is going on in the group and maintain contact with both present and absent members.
- Invites interested parties
- Gathers the group's ideas and can convert them into a concrete program
- Makes people enthusiastic and encourages them to take charge for a morning themselves.
- Enjoys giving workshops or leading activities yourself
- Get in touch with the manager of De Semmelstee and the Culture Coach from VRIJDAG in de Buurt
Skills and qualities
You recognize yourself in...
- Social and committed — with a heart for the 55+ age group
- Curious, versatile and creative
- Vital
- Affinity with music, movement, dance, or art
- Enjoy collaborating and taking the lead
- Preferably: you play a musical instrument and can occasionally accompany the group while singing.

When: Every Monday morning, walk-in from 10:30 AM, ends at 12:30 PM. Participation is free. Coffee and tea can be ordered at the bar.
