As a volunteer at De Puzzelaar, you guide residents during an enjoyable puzzle activity and ensure social interaction, fun, and personal attention.
For the activity 'De Puzzelaar' at the De Dilgt location (Haren), we are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer. Do you enjoy bringing residents together around a puzzle (mainly word puzzles), having a chat, and creating a pleasant atmosphere? Then we are looking for you!
What are you going to do?
The puzzle activity takes place on Monday mornings from 10:00 to 11:15. As a volunteer at De Puzzelaar, you guide a group of residents during a fun puzzle morning. You encourage interaction between residents, assist with the puzzles where necessary, and ensure that everyone feels welcome. You also help with the preparation of the activity, so that residents can enjoy a relaxed puzzle moment in a cozy and hospitable environment.
And you?
- You are people-oriented and social, with an eye for the needs of the elderly.
- You have an affinity with the target group (elderly people with, for example, dementia or somatic conditions).
- Experience is not necessary; enthusiasm and commitment are more important.
