As Cosis, we make soup with the clients in the communal kitchen at Westerholm for the staff of Westerholm. In addition, we perform duties in the restaurant and assist with the preparation of activities organized by Westerholm. We have set up work-learning programs for people with disabilities so that they can train in the kitchen and restaurant. As a volunteer, you support us in the kitchen and can help with the training.
Tasks and duties
- You work at a unique workplace at a location in Haren.
- You work together with clients and support staff from Cosis in the kitchen and restaurant of care center Westerholm.
- Clients work here with great enthusiasm right in the heart of society.
- Dienstenservice Westerholm is a workplace where clients can maintain their skills or further develop them through learning programs that we offer.
- We offer mileage reimbursement and the opportunity to take fun courses.
Skills and qualities
We are looking for people who enjoy working in the kitchen together with people with an intellectual disability.
Are you enthusiastic and able to motivate others? Then we would like to talk to you to see what we can do for each other.
Collaboration and team building are our top priorities; everyone is equal and equally important.
Additional information
For rhythm and structure, it is important that you choose one fixed day (or part of a day) to work with us. Working hours are 9:15 – 16:00 (or several days a week), preferably in the morning due to making the soup.
The service employees are present in Westerholm from 9:45 to 16:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
