You can gain work experience as a Hospitality Assistant at the Hortus Botanicus in Haren. The Hortus in Haren houses the Hortus restaurant, where visitors can enjoy a snack or a drink during their visit. The restaurant is managed in collaboration with Cosis, where people with disabilities assist with serving. There is an opening in the restaurant for an assistant host or hostess to assist with all tasks.
Tasks and duties
You assist with all tasks that arise, such as:
- receive visitors
- assist with common hospitality duties
- serving visitors with coffee or a sandwich
- operating the cash register
- cleaning, tidying up and/or helping in the dishwashing area
- keep the restaurant tidy, clean and tidy
Skills and qualities
- You enjoy interacting with people
- You see the work that needs to be done and want to get to work.
- You are honest and reliable and look neat.
Additional information
You are available for at least 16 hours per week.
