Are you someone who loves being in nature and marvels at all living things? Do you enjoy passing on that sense of wonder to children? Then we are looking for you.
At the Hortus, we believe that children get to know nature best by experiencing, discovering, and marveling.
Tasks and duties
As an education volunteer, you contribute to the educational offerings of the Hortus. For example, you guide school classes and groups during educational programs and assist with public activities.
Skills and qualities
What we are looking for:
You don't have to be a botanical expert: enthusiasm and commitment are the most important things.
- You have (basic) knowledge of plants and animals in their interrelationships.
- You enjoy working with children.
- Encourages children to look for themselves, ask questions, and discover.
- You are available for one or more half-days per month.
