Tasks and duties
For this vacancy, we are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who enjoys maintaining our beautiful picking flower garden together with other volunteers. You have (some) knowledge of gardening and you are a positive and proactive person. Together with our other Pick-Your-Own Gardeners, you ensure that visitors to De Mikkelhorst can pick plenty of ecological bouquets during the summer months.
The picking garden volunteers work together on Tuesday mornings. It is also possible to work independently on another morning or afternoon.
Skills and qualities
- You love gardening and being outdoors makes you happy.
- You are proactive and see what needs to be done.
- You enjoy rolling up your sleeves in a beautiful, natural setting.
- You are socially engaged and positive.
- You work with your head, hands, and heart.
- It gives you satisfaction to work for a social organization.
- You have an unblemished record and can demonstrate this with a Certificate of Conduct (VOG); there are no costs associated with this.
