WE connect people and organizations so that every Groninger belongs and can participate. We do this by being visible and accessible to everyone. By supporting residents and neighborhoods. By stimulating collective activities and initiatives by residents. By referring to specialized care and facilities. WE are in the neighborhood and take decisive action when necessary.
WE, we are all Groningers. WE, that is you and me, unique people, each with their own talents and concerns. WE stand for each other, because everyone counts.
WE are a committed, socially responsible organization and work with great drive and passion for our residents. Our 10 WIJ locations are situated right in the neighborhood or village; residents can walk in without an appointment with an idea, wish, pressing question, or problem.
Together with 900 colleagues, you help residents strengthen their self-reliance and participate in society. Our many volunteers, interns, and colleagues with a participation job or work experience placement make an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn contribution to what WIJ Groningen stands for: for each other and with each other! You are not alone; in a multidisciplinary team of employees, you discuss themes and develop actions together. We build on individual capabilities and continue to learn from each other every day.
