- Working at one of the most beautiful locations in the Northern Netherlands;

Tasks and duties
The water garden in the Hortus Haren is situated next to an extensive wild plant garden. The water garden consists of two parts: a pond section with wooden decking and pergolas, and a section with aquatic, marginal, and marsh plants along the banks of a winding brook.
As a volunteer in the Water Garden, you contribute to the maintenance of this special garden. Together with an enthusiastic team, you care for the aquatic and climbing plants, and ensure that the garden remains a beautiful, inviting place for our visitors.
Skills and qualities
- Has a green thumb;
- Has knowledge of and/or affinity with aquatic and climbing plants;
- Has experience with gardening or would like to learn;
- Enjoys contributing to the preservation and strengthening of Hortus Haren;
