About Lewenborg Energie
Lewenborg Energie is a residents' initiative stemming from Golvend Lewenborg and BeWonersPlatformLewenborg that, in the form of an association, aims to strive for sustainable energy in the Lewenborg district and surrounding area. Because there are already many sustainability initiatives in the neighborhood, we are focusing specifically on sustainable heating systems.
We chose to form an association to express that we want to do this in collaboration with the residents!
Our mission is:
that heat supply can be different and better;
that cooling in the summer should be part of the sustainability effort;
that it can be affordable for everyone, preferably with slightly lower costs;
that the neighborhood also becomes more beautiful as a result;
that the money for the new heating and cooling systems does not flow away to large companies, but is put to use for a clean and sustainable neighborhood for everyone who participates, for example by establishing a cooperative for this purpose at some point;
that with a good approach, enthusiasm can grow;
that we can then also foster the connection within the neighborhood between different cultural and social strata;
that we can offer opportunities to students and contractors performing necessary work working on their future and that of the neighborhood, the city, and a more sustainable world.
that it must and ultimately can be done by working together on plans.
