As a board member of Lewenborg Energie, you contribute directly to making your own neighborhood more sustainable. You work together with engaged residents on concrete projects, such as energy conservation, sustainable generation, and strengthening the local community.

Tasks and duties
As a board member, you are responsible, together with the other board members, for the direction and operation of the foundation/cooperative. Tasks are divided by mutual agreement, depending on interest and experience.
Possible activities:
- Contribute to the strategy and development of Lewenborg Energie
- Administrative tasks such as meetings and decision-making
- Representing the organization to partners and stakeholders
- Initiating and managing sustainable projects
- Supporting working groups and volunteers
- (Co-)organizing meetings and communication with residents
- Monitoring finances and/or subsidies (depending on role)
The time investment averages a few hours per week, with peaks around projects or meetings.
Skills and qualities
We are looking for people who identify with (part of) the following profile:
- Affinity with sustainability and energy
- Involvement with Lewenborg or the local community
- Willingness to cooperate and take responsibility
- Communicatively skilled and able to connect various interests
- Proactive and solution-oriented attitude
- Managerial experience is a plus, but not necessary.

Lewenborg Energie is a residents' initiative stemming from Golvend Lewenborg and BeWonersPlatformLewenborg that aims to pursue sustainable energy in the Lewenborg district and surrounding area in the form of an association. Since there are already many sustainability initiatives in the district, we are focusing specifically on sustainable heating systems.
We chose to form an association to express that we want to do this in collaboration with the residents!
