Who doesn't know the Mamamini thrift stores? This is your chance to get a peek behind the scenes at the nicest and most famous thrift store in Groningen!
- You will be working in a friendly team and meeting new people. You will be busy and get a lot in return.
- You dedicate yourself to Groningen, because thanks to you, we can donate money to foundations and associations in Groningen through the Mamamini Charity Fund.
- You will receive, among other things, a volunteer allowance of €1.25 per hour and a 20% discount on everything we sell in the stores. A nice bonus, isn't it?!
Tasks and duties
Do you like to be active and don't like sitting still? Then working as a warehouse employee at Mamamini might be just right for you!
- As a warehouse employee, you help donors who bring items themselves with unloading.
- You also help with loading and unloading our own trucks.
- You disassemble or assemble the furniture that has arrived.
- Furthermore, you carry out minor repairs on the incoming furniture, price it, and place it in the store.
- Finally, together with your colleagues, you ensure that the warehouse remains tidy.
Skills and qualities
- Because you have to carry a lot of (heavy) items, it is important that you are in reasonable physical condition.
- Customer friendliness is important because you help customers with, for example, carrying purchased furniture to their cars.
- You also need a reasonable command of the Dutch language to work well with your colleagues and to communicate with customers and donors.
- On average, once a month you also help on Saturday afternoons.
