Tasks and duties
People with impaired memory come together at the Odensehuis to have a drink, chat, or participate in an activity. We could really use some help with this. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with the participants to find suitable and meaningful ways to spend the day. With patience and empathy, you encourage residents to make the most of every day.
Do you think you can handle people whose memory and health are slowly declining? Would you like to help them create an enjoyable and meaningful day? There is plenty to do.
Skills and qualities
- You can work in a team with other volunteers and interns.
- Flexibility (the number of visitors varies).
- Customer focus (you are focused on the people who come by and respond to their needs).
- Personal leadership (you can make your own decisions).
