Tasks and duties
Looking to further develop yourself professionally? Want to contribute to the activities and projects of the Red Cross? We are looking for a Relief Location Coordinator for the North Groningen location (Appingedam area).
In this role, you ensure that assistance and medical care are provided by highly deployable and qualified volunteers at events and in response to requests for help during crisis situations. You are the point of contact for the volunteers, provide direction and guidance in the execution of activities, and ensure good cooperation among team members. You are part of the coordination team at your location and form a community with the other Location Coordinators for Assistance in the Groningen district.
Skills and qualities
Our ideal Emergency Services Location Coordinator:
- Can lead, inspire, and motivate a group of volunteers.
- Is a whiz at organizing and has a heart for helping others.
- Can adapt and gets energy from working in a highly innovative organization.
- Has good communication, social, and networking skills.
- Holds a First Aid certificate or is willing to obtain one.
- Preferably lives in the working area.
- Endorses the fundamental principles and strategic objectives of the Red Cross.
