Tasks and duties

As a volunteer, you work in small groups or individually with students. Classes are taught at 5 locations, and the level of the groups varies.

Skills and qualities

  • Proficiency in the Dutch language at B1 level.
  • Being empathetic.
  • Be patient.
  • Finding pleasure in the small steps the course participants take.
  • Be flexible.

Additional information

In the Z-route (an integration route for people who are expected to have difficulty achieving language level A2), we guide newcomers on their path to self-reliance. The participants are people from different cultures, of various ages (from 18 to 65), men and women. They are in a group of 12-15 students and receive three 3-hour lessons per week. The students require significant guidance in learning our language. We are looking for multiple candidates; anyone who meets the above criteria is welcome!
