The students would be very grateful if you could help with the Dutch language or accompany them to, for example, museums.
Tasks and duties
- Helping with speaking and reading the Dutch language at the Open Learning Centre.
- Supporting students with their homework.
- In the afternoons from Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 14:00.
- Accompanying to, for example, the Forum or museums.
- Exam training.
Skills and qualities
- Has enthusiasm to motivate the refugee to learn the language.
- Dutch.
Additional information
We teach the Dutch language to refugees. They must master the language within 20 weeks. There are no opportunities to retake tests, so they have to work hard. We need volunteers to help at the Open Learning Centre by supporting students with their homework and "preparing" them for the exam.
