Interesting or nice about this vacancy

An opportunity to collaborate with 100 artists and writers on a special and valuable project. We will weave dreams for children through sound and color, including music, poetry, illustration, film, and many other art forms. You will also receive a mention in the online inspiration guide at Droomwevers.nl plus a copy of the final book.

Tasks and duties

Droomwevers is looking for an educational officer with a pedagogical and/or educational background. The most important thing is that the person has a passion for art, culture, and language and wants to dedicate themselves to children. Because the work focuses on educational materials, it is important that their quality is guaranteed.

  • You assess educational material (books, films, songs, essays) based on quality, added value, and whether/how it fits within the program lines and the needs of the target group.
  • You advise the team of makers.
  • You will help sort an inspiration guide (for children) based on our multimedia project (picture book, games, music, and online content), called ABC of Wisdom. This involves categorizing various books, films, songs, essays, etc., by age and school groups.
  • You set up simple records of the entire project, including the involved partners.

We would also be happy to discuss if you would like to take on part of the duties. There are possibilities for a partnership with multiple volunteer educational staff members. If you are interested in this, please indicate this in your response.

Additional info:

We have developed educational material that is easily accessible to children and adults. Through our educational material, children are introduced to culture, dance, language, and various art and music forms in a playful and accessible way. After the basic introduction, our offering includes multiple levels, enabling us to make a cultural contribution to children for years to come.

Children discover new dreams through play!
