Tasks and duties
- Do you want to be part of a friendly team?
- Support the Present team with your talent?
- A volunteer position for at least 6 hours per month?
The group leader is involved in a project from start to finish. This means the following:
- You will receive the details of the volunteer group and the care recipient from Present.
- You will go on a project visit together with the contact person of the volunteer group. During this visit, you will meet the aid recipient, assess what is needed for the project, and discuss when the project will take place.
- You process all data via an online form in our registration system.
- On the project day, ensure you are the first to arrive at the project location. Welcome the volunteers and take the time to get to know the care recipient and perhaps even put them at ease. The tasks are distributed, and the volunteers can get started. Take a nice photo of the volunteer group and possibly some action shots. Ensure you are available to the volunteers throughout the day, but feel free to go home in between.
- At the end of the project day, you return to the project location. Together with the volunteers and the care recipient, you wrap up the project, evaluate it, and check if everything went satisfactorily. You say goodbye, and that marks the end of the project. You write a short report on the project and email it to Present.
- You write a short report on the project and email it to Present, and then you are done. A difference has been made in someone's life again, and you played a key role in that!
