Tasks and duties
What are you going to do?
Every week, the children's parents come together and engage in conversation with each other under your guidance. You will provide this guidance in one of the neighborhoods where Together is active.
What is the goal of the parent coach?
- Creating a safe and personal atmosphere in the weekly parent meetings.
- The ability to respond flexibly to (individual) questions and refer where necessary.
- Discuss substantive themes in the group.
- Supporting parents in taking new steps.
- Tapping into and expanding relevant networks for parents.
You will do all of this under the guidance of our professional parent coach.
Skills and qualities
- Culturally sensitive.
- Good conversational skills.
- Making parents feel at ease.
- Be able to communicate in Dutch.
- The ability to think beyond the obvious.
- Experience with Dutch (primary) education is an advantage.
- Available in the afternoon between 13:00 and 17:00.
