Tasks and duties
You as a volunteer:
- Ensures a pleasant, inviting atmosphere in the day room or patient room.
- Supports the (individual) patient, e.g. by listening to music, having a chat, reading the newspaper together, or playing a game.
- Also supports the nurses with group and individual activities.
- Can you take the patient for a short walk on the ward?
Skills and qualities
You:
- Recognize yourself as an open, enthusiastic, and hospitable person.
- Have a strong sense of responsibility and can react calmly and act tactfully in difficult situations.
- Looks presentable.
- Has a good command of the Dutch language.
- You are available for an extended period.
- You are available for at least two half-days per week (you will be scheduled for 1 half-day per week, or twice a week for guest transport).
- Have an affinity with healthcare.
