Tasks and duties
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are experts by experience regarding living with a disability to strengthen our Accessible Groningen Working Group.
Our working group is active in all areas of the UN Convention on the Rights and Opportunities of Persons with Disabilities and is an official advisory body to the Municipality of Groningen.
Within the working group, we collaborate in a network organization on themes from the UN Convention, such as accessibility of buildings and public spaces, housing, education, work, mobility, sports, culture, communication, and public perception.
Each participant brings their own expertise and skills, and often a preference for certain themes.
People from the former municipalities of Haren and Ten Boer are specifically asked to respond.

- You work well with others and are not afraid to take initiative.
Additional information
You work together with volunteers who are experts by experience.
There is ample opportunity for personal initiative (as long as it fits within the objectives and mandate of the WTG, of course).
