About YFU Nederland
Youth for Understanding (YFU) is an international non-profit volunteer organization that has been offering young people the opportunity to go on an exchange for a school year, semester, or summer for over 70 years. In this way, they get to know another culture, learn to speak a foreign language, and meet new people.
YFU offers Dutch youth the opportunity to attend a foreign High School or College and live with a local host family. Additionally, foreign students come to live in the Netherlands and attend secondary school here, giving Dutch host families the chance to get to know another culture at their own kitchen table.
