Accompany elderly residents of ZINNzorg on fun outings from the De Pelster location. Provide personal attention, a pleasant atmosphere, and support along the way.

Would you enjoy working as a host or hostess for the outings? Do you like bringing sparkle into the lives of the residents? As a volunteer at ZINNtours, you are ready with attention and a welcoming attitude.

WelZINN organizes several outings every year where residents and clients head out in the ZINN vans. For example, to eat fish in Lauwersoog or for a museum visit with a nice cup of coffee. For this, we are looking for a hospitable and committed volunteer for the De Pelster location (city center) who wants to contribute to a pleasant experience.

What are you going to do?

As a host/hostess, you accompany residents during outings, from departure to return. You ensure a safe and pleasant atmosphere, assist with boarding the bus, make contact en route, and provide support on location. You work together with drivers and staff.

Tasks:

  • Preparing for the trip and getting to know the destination
  • Checking the list of participants and coordinating with reception
  • Assisting residents with boarding
  • Ensure a pleasant atmosphere and contact with residents along the way
  • Providing support on location, such as ordering and reporting to the reception.
  • Being alert to emergencies and knowing who to call
  • Assisting with the return and concluding with the driver

And you?

  • You are people-oriented and social, with an eye for the needs of the elderly.
  • You have an affinity with the target group (elderly people with, for example, dementia or somatic conditions).
  • You are meticulous, patient, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
  • You enjoy working with other volunteers and professionals.

What do we offer you?

At ZINN, we value the dedication of our volunteers! That is why we invest in a warm welcome, good guidance, and plenty of opportunities for personal development. You will be part of a committed organization where your contribution truly makes a difference for residents and clients. In addition, we offer free training, inspiring gatherings, an end-of-year gift, appropriate expense reimbursements, and ensure you are well insured. This way, we ensure that you can do volunteer work with pleasure, confidence, and appreciation.
