As a volunteer at the bingo in Haren, you help residents during the game and bring fun, social interaction, and personal attention.

For location De Dilgt, we are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help with the weekly bingo for residents of ZINNzorg. Do you enjoy leading an activity, having a chat, and putting a smile on someone's face? Then we are looking for you!

What are you going to do?

As a bingo volunteer, you work together with other volunteers and staff to ensure a fun and relaxed activity. You assist with the preparations, support residents during the game, and contribute to a pleasant atmosphere.

Your duties include, among other things:

  • setting up the room, bingo equipment, and prizes;
  • receiving residents and guiding them to the activity;
  • assist with distributing bingo cards and materials;
  • serving coffee and tea;
  • helping during the game and supporting residents where necessary;
  • ensure a pleasant and enthusiastic atmosphere;
  • have a chat and give personal attention;
  • Help clean up and close up the activity afterwards.

On Wednesday mornings from 10:00 to 11:15, bingo takes place for residents with dementia. On Tuesday evenings from 19:30 to 21:00, bingo takes place for other residents from other departments. We are looking for volunteers for both times. After the summer period, the bingo may move from Tuesday evenings to Thursday afternoons from 14:30 to 15:45, every other week.

And you?

  • You are people-oriented and social, with an eye for the needs of the elderly.
  • You have an affinity with the target group (elderly people with, for example, dementia or somatic conditions).
  • Experience is not necessary; enthusiasm and commitment are more important.

What do we offer you?

At ZINN, we value the dedication of our volunteers! That is why we invest in a warm welcome, good guidance, and plenty of opportunities for personal development. You will be part of a committed organization where your contribution truly makes a difference for residents and clients. In addition, we offer free training, inspiring gatherings, an end-of-year gift, appropriate expense reimbursements, and ensure you are well insured. This way, we ensure that you can do volunteer work with pleasure, confidence, and appreciation.

Something for you?

Do you enjoy giving residents a fun moment and sharing the excitement of a game of bingo? Then sign up without obligation!
