Residents of a unit in the nursing home enjoy the fish in the aquarium but are unable to clean the aquarium themselves.
Maartenshof is located on the outskirts of the city of Groningen in the Corpus den Hoorn district. It offers housing, intensive care, and well-being for elderly people who can no longer live independently at home due to physical or mental health issues. In addition, Maartenshof houses the largest rehabilitation center for the elderly in the Groningen region.
🐠 Will you help our residents and fish?
The residents of our apartment in the nursing home enjoy the peace and coziness of our aquarium every day. The colorful fish provide an atmospheric and lively element in the apartment and are fun for many residents to watch.
What are you going to do?
Unfortunately, cleaning and maintaining the aquarium themselves is not possible for our residents. Therefore, we are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who enjoys coming by once a week and ensuring that the aquarium looks fresh, clean, and well-cared for again.
This concerns a warm water aquarium with a pump , in which a few fish swim. The work consists primarily of cleaning and maintaining the aquarium so that the fish can continue swimming in a pleasant and healthy environment.
