You meet many people. You can volunteer at different times, and no day is the same. And you can get involved in the community center in various ways.
Twice a year, we organize a social evening together with the volunteers, board, and staff.
Tasks and duties
As a host, you can be deployed in various ways.
For the community room, we are looking for someone to welcome visitors, provide coffee and tea, and, above all, create a friendly atmosphere. This could mean that one day you are chatting with visitors, and the next you are organizing a games morning or afternoon. It might also involve helping to make soup or shelling beans for the meal. We appreciate it if you also contribute something of your own.
You might also work behind the bar or in the kitchen when there are meetings, for example; this could also be in the evening hours. Or you might set up a room for yoga or a gathering.
Everyone lends a hand to keep our Community Center tidy, whether that involves loading and unloading the dishwasher or vacuuming or dusting a hall or community room.
Skills and qualities
- You are hospitable.
- You speak Dutch
- You also enjoy organizing things, such as a games morning or afternoon.
- You get along well with people and you are a good listener.
Additional information
