Our target group consists of people with a mild intellectual disability. Every resident is unique in his or her own way. Every resident has their own interests. Several residents are in need of a buddy with whom they can do something fun. This does not have to be long or frequent, but with some regularity so that they have something to look forward to. Are you the person we are looking for? Then respond to this vacancy.
Tasks and duties
For our residents at Humanitas DMH, location ORKA, and the vegetable garden, we are looking for volunteers for several residents. We are seeking volunteers who enjoy spending a few hours together once a week or every two weeks. By scheduling an initial meeting, you can indicate your interests and what you are open to. This could involve a walk, a shopping trip, having coffee or tea somewhere, etc. Based on this meeting, we will assess whether there is a match. Our residential facility houses 26 residents.
