Tasks and duties

• You will go on (home) visits to get acquainted with new participants of the Volunteers & Dementia project.
• Together with the project coordinator, you get to know new volunteers.
• You ensure a good match between the volunteers and participants, and you introduce the new volunteer to the relevant participant.
• You support and guide your matched volunteers. After the match, you are their contact person from Humanitas.
• You assist in organizing thematic meetings and contribute ideas regarding PR activities.

Skills and qualities

• You have an affinity for dementia and you are interested in working with people.
• Good accessibility
• You enjoy working together
• You have an open attitude and are flexible
• You are available for two half-days per week. You want to commit to this project for the long term.
• You speak good Dutch and function at MBO/HBO level.
• Working with the computer is no problem for you.
• You are willing to attend the training for new Volunteer Coordinators. This consists of 3 half-days.

Additional information

• You will be given ample time to familiarize yourself with the coordination work; during the initial period, you will be guided and supported by your fellow coordinators.
