Interesting or nice about this vacancy
The Informal Care Advisory Group is committed to providing good support to informal caregivers in the municipality of Groningen. This support is urgently needed to prevent burnout.
Tasks and duties
What does the Informal Care Advisory Group do?
- The Informal Care Advisory Group provides solicited and unsolicited advice to the municipality regarding the implementation of its informal care policy.
- The members submit new ideas, make recommendations for informal care support, and, if necessary, develop these into a policy recommendation or activity.
- Some members contribute to compiling the Caregiver Map and organizing the Day of the Caregiver in Groningen.
The group currently has six members. All members are or were informal caregivers. They all have a heart for informal care.
The Advisory Group meets approximately once every six weeks at the Humanitas Groningen premises.
The coordinator of Humanitas Steunpunt Mantelzorg and the policy advisor from the Municipality of Groningen with informal care as a theme are always present at our meetings.
Skills and qualities
- Are you involved in or do you feel involved in informal care?
- Would you like to share your experiences and ideas?
- Would you like to think along with us about developments related to (the future of) informal care?
- Do you find it challenging to monitor informal care policy and establish contacts within the informal care network?
Then we would be happy to talk to you.
