Art-loving Society Pictura provides a platform for the work of primarily northern artists of the highest possible quality, or work that otherwise makes a valuable contribution to the art scene. Pictura was founded in 1834 and is located in a national monument at Sint Walburgstraat 1.
We are looking to strengthen our team of volunteers. If you would like to work with us towards the success of our ambitions, please read on and contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.
Our activities will be expanded in the coming years to include music, theater, lectures, and courses.
- You work in a beautiful environment and in a nice team.

Tasks and duties
- You work as a host/hostess in our building.
- Alone or with someone else.
- Sometimes there are also some technical tasks to be done (but these are distributed according to the different skills people have).
- Light administrative duties (PR, answering emails, etc.).
Skills and qualities
- Have a welcoming appearance.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Welcoming people.
- Having an interest in culture in the broadest sense of the word.

Het Kunstlievend Genootschap Pictura in Groningen werd opgericht in 1832 met als doel: 'de beeldende kunst en de nijverheidskunst in de ruimste zin van het woord aan te moedigen en te bevorderen.' Door middel van particuliere bijdragen, entrees, verkoop èn donaties zet Pictura zich in, om op non-profit basis de kunst in en van het Noorden te promoten in een bijzondere omgeving.
