About Platform Hattinga Verschure
Platform Hattinga Verschure aims for a better position for and support for informal caregivers in the province of Groningen. We want informal caregivers to be recognized as an indispensable partner in many situations and in the development and provision of care. We also strive for an informal care policy that is tailored to the needs, experiences, and personal situation of informal caregivers. All of this should lead to greater resilience so that informal caregivers can carry out their caregiving duties in a way that is good for all involved.
Advocacy for informal caregivers in the province of Groningen. This consists of:
- engaging in dialogue with municipalities to draw attention to informal caregivers and good informal care support;
- organizing meetings for informal care support centers to exchange knowledge and experience;
- organizing informal care conferences to connect informal caregivers, professionals, and policymakers for the purpose of good informal care support.
