We are Stichting De GroenVerbinders. We help residents – particularly those on a tight budget – with all kinds of large and small jobs in and around the home in the city of Groningen. This includes things like installing laminate flooring for residents, painting interiors or exteriors, and hanging lamps, for example. In short: a lot of variety!

Tasks and duties
Jobs reach us through various channels. For each job, we assess what is needed: the number of people, the tools required, and consequently, the price. Sometimes we need to visit residents in advance to determine this, but sometimes that isn't necessary. We often go to a job with a team of several people—it's always nice and sociable! What should you keep in mind?
- Laying laminate
- Building flower boxes
- Making hedgehog houses and birdhouses
- Small repairs in and around the house
- Painting and simple carpentry jobs
- And many other options
Skills and qualities
- You are motivated
- You have experience with odd jobs or have technical insight
- You can work independently (although you often work in a group, which is nice and sociable).
- You enjoy making a difference for someone else.
- You don't need an official diploma — practical skills are more important than paperwork.
Additional information
At Stichting De GroenVerbinders, you will join a friendly team and almost never work alone. We offer a social, meaningful work environment with a volunteer allowance and a catered lunch.
