Tasks and duties

We are a foundation for and by residents of the Lewenborg neighborhood. There is a meeting place at the coffee table, a thrift store, and there is always someone present to listen.

Everyone, regardless of background, is welcome at De Oude Bieb.

We work from the belief that everyone has a talent that can be utilized to help yourself and others move forward.

We are looking for a volunteer for the position of hostess/host.

The work consists of:

• Drinking coffee with visitors, offering a listening ear, monitoring role.
• Ensuring a pleasant atmosphere at the table
• Ensuring that everything is ready to receive visitors.
• Making and pouring coffee/tea.
• Washing dishes and cleaning (toilets, tables, vacuuming, mopping).
• Participation in the Hosts/Hostesses meeting.

Skills and qualities

• You are available for at least 2 half-days (min. 8 hours); more is always welcome, of course!
• You can work in a team but also independently.
• You are social and have strong communication skills.
• You have a positive attitude and know how to convey this to the guests.

The vacancy can be filled as a volunteer position or in the form of a participation job (if you receive social assistance benefits under the Participation Act and meet the other conditions).
