Tasks and duties

Our enthusiastic cooking group prepares a free neighborhood meal every Wednesday for a rotating group of older, single residents. In total, meals are cooked for 15 people (including the cooks).

We also cook a large pot of soup once a week, on alternating days, for the visitors and volunteers.

To expand the cooking group, we are looking for a "hobby cook". The cooks come up with the menu together and do the grocery shopping. They also serve the food and enjoy eating along. Afterwards, they tidy up the kitchen and living room (vacuuming and mopping), clean, and do the dishes (dishwasher).

• Able to work hygienically and neatly.
• Can come up with varied menus.
• Price-conscious
• Can work together.
• Being able to have a nice chat with the guests at the table.
• Good physical condition required. First, you pick up the ingredients at the supermarket/market, and then you cook from 10:30 AM to 1:15 PM. After dinner, the cooks also do the dishes (using the dishwasher) and clean the kitchen and living room.
