Van Houten has a Community Centre in Oosterpark. We are here for all residents who would like to do something in the neighborhood. Everyone is welcome to join in. As a result, we have a diverse team! This diversity ensures that everyone feels welcome! The atmosphere is relaxed, and if a department is busy, we help each other out.
What's nice about this place is that you meet fellow neighborhood residents, get soup on your workdays, enjoy a lot of camaraderie, and can use and develop your talents.
If you would like to take the first steps towards employment, that is possible. Here you can start working through various tracks, but also without a specific track. The tracks include extra guidance.
Tasks and duties
- Make and set out coffee and tea.
- Ensuring a neat and clean work environment.
- Setting up meeting arrangements.
- Replenish stock.
- Opening and closing of the building.
- Supporting colleagues when necessary.
- having fun :)
Skills and qualities
- You can work both independently and as part of a team.
- You enjoy working with colleagues.
- You are sociable and you are not afraid to approach people.
- You have a service-oriented attitude.
- You are willing to work day and/or evening/weekend shifts.
