Tasks and duties
Stichting Kindervakantiekamp Winschoten organizes a holiday week every year during the summer holidays for children aged 6 to 14 from the Winschoten region who are unable to go on holiday due to social, societal, and/or financial circumstances at home.
The camp takes place from July 11 to July 17. Transportation, food, drinks, and accommodation are provided. All volunteers stay at a camping farm. The camp usually has between 40 and 50 participants in the 6-14 age group. Volunteers act as group leaders for a specific age group or organize activities for the entire group.
A core group of volunteers forms the heart of the camp – and we are looking for enthusiastic new volunteers who enjoy giving children from the target group an unforgettable week.
Skills and qualities
You must be available from Saturday, July 11 to Friday, July 17, and enjoy working with children. We have volunteers with experience in education or youth guidance, as well as volunteers with no background whatsoever. If you are enthusiastic, we will find a role for you.
