Help give the LeRoy area a future!
Stichting LeRoy Groningen is looking for a new secretary. Our current secretary is stepping down from this position at the end of 2026. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys contributing to the management of one of the most special places in Groningen.
The LeRoy area is a unique urban nature reserve of over 6 hectares, spread throughout Lewenborg. For more than 50 years, the ideas of landscape architect Louis le Roy have been brought to life here: an area where nature, people, and time work together. Here, volunteers maintain and develop the Ecocathedral, the food forest, the Pinetum, the Willow Forest, and various other green projects, among others.
As secretary, you are an important link within the board. You help keep the foundation running and contribute ideas about the future of the area.
What are you going to do?
- Contribute ideas regarding developments and activities in the area
- Taking minutes during board meetings
- Helping with agendas and meeting documents
- Tracking action points and decisions
- Assisting with emails and other administrative matters
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who enjoys being involved with the LeRoy area and can maintain a bit of an overview. You do not need to have experience as a secretary. Are you a good listener, able to record agreements, and do you work in a reasonably structured manner? Then we would like to get in touch with you.
