We are looking for students who would enjoy participating in our project pool. Participation is entirely without obligation. If a project is scheduled, you will receive an email about it and can sign up, either alone or with someone else, to supervise the project. You will receive a short training beforehand, and then you are ready to start! Would you enjoy contributing to the neighborhood, improving your project management skills, and helping children discover their potential?! With just two sessions of two hours each, the project is time-efficient yet offers the opportunity to be socially involved.

Tasks and duties
As a student, do you want to work with children, make new contacts, contribute to society, and develop your project skills?! Then join Move in 1 Day! In just one day or multiple half-days, you and your friend, housemate, fellow student, or teammate can make all the difference for many children! With only two half-days of two hours each, the project is time-efficient yet offers the opportunity to be socially involved.
The children (8-10 years old) get to work devising and carrying out an action to make the neighborhood they live in a nicer place. First, the children look for and discuss themes relevant to the neighborhood, discover their talents, and develop a project idea. Afterwards, they actually carry out this project and celebrate with a festive conclusion! Example projects include a litter cleanup afternoon, giving compliments to neighbors, or creating a mural! Under your guidance as a volunteer, they discover how they can contribute to their living environment and can be proud of themselves!
Skills and qualities
We are looking for students who enjoy helping children discover how they can change the world, who want to make a social contribution, who are strong communicators, and who can work well in a team. The student:
- Is proactive.
- Feels responsible for the project.
- Is enterprising and enthusiastic.
- Enjoys working with children.
