Tasks and duties
- Sowing, planting, and harvesting vegetables and fruit under the guidance of a Toentje chef.
- Preparing the harvest for transport to the Food Bank.
- Maintenance of the vegetable garden: weeding, digging, pruning, etc.
- Maintenance of the grounds and surroundings of Toentje.
- Working together in an enthusiastic and motivated team.
- For a participation job, a work week of at least 16 hours applies.
Skills and qualities
- Interested in organic vegetable gardening.
- You love getting things done outdoors.
- Physically capable of doing light and heavier garden work.
Additional information
You can also sign up for individual garden projects at Toentje. For example, we regularly plant, weed, and harvest at Boeren voor de Voedselbank. We work on call with a small group at the farmer's.
This vacancy can be filled as either a volunteer position or a participation job.
