Lots of contact with the elderly and very rewarding work. Scheduling the rides can be challenging.
Tasks and duties
You work in an office and answer the phone. You try to incorporate the callers' wishes into the schedule for the day they want to be transported. You take travel times into account. You consult with people to see if an earlier or later departure would also be helpful to them.
Skills and qualities
Affinity with the elderly, patient and friendly, a good listener, and good hearing. You are reasonably skilled with a PC.
