Tasks and duties

Sunesis is seeking teachers for various subjects—currently geography, computer science, and chemistry—to strengthen our team. With us, you will have all the freedom and opportunities to shape your teaching in a way that you believe is appropriate for our target group. You have an affinity for highly autonomous gifted young people and know how to stimulate and challenge them.

Skills and qualities

• You have a university-level thinking ability.
• You have completed a relevant vocational training.
• You have (preferably) completed a first-degree teacher training program.
• You have an affinity with gifted and highly gifted students.
• You can offer challenging and out-of-the-box education.

Sunesis is a newly established, small-scale secondary school focusing on gifted students and offering a safe haven for highly gifted youth, where personal growth is central. We offer a specially designed place for students who fall outside the beaten path of mainstream secondary education, with a focus on autonomy, competence, and connectedness.
