As a DuoFiets volunteer for Oosterparkheem, you offer people a pleasant time together in the open air. Usually, both parties enjoy it immensely!
Tasks and duties
TSN has its own electric DuoFiets. The volunteer receives lessons and an explanation about the bike from an experienced person. A welfare worker assists between the contact with the resident and the volunteer. The volunteer consults with the resident regarding the duration and location of the ride.
Skills and qualities
- Affinity with the elderly.
- Ability to handle an electric bicycle (physically and technically).
- Being able to maneuver safely in traffic with the DuoBike.
- Preferably available for a fixed afternoon per week or a few hours every two weeks.
- Flexibility to adjust appointments if necessary.
- Communicating smoothly with activity supervisors and DuoFiets-Lewenborg.
