Do you want to help women learn to ride a bike independently and safely? Then we are looking for you.
Learning to ride a bike is a big step towards greater independence: going to work, school, or an appointment without being dependent on others or public transport. That is why we organize cycling lessons in Selwerd specifically for women. We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who wants to support women with the lessons.
What are you going to do
- You support the cycling instructor.
- If you like, you can also join joint themed cycling mornings later on, where the women practice further and meet each other.
What we ask of you
- You enjoy cycling and are willing to provide support on the dates below.
- You enjoy motivating participants.
- Translate simple instructions if you can.
The theory lesson is on Monday, August 24 from 09:00 to 12:00. The cycling lessons are given on the following mornings between 09:00 and 12:00:
- Monday, August 24
- Wednesday, August 26
- Monday, August 31
- Wednesday, September 2
- Monday, September 7
- Wednesday, September 9
- Monday, September 14
- Wednesday, September 16
In weeks 39 and 40, we conclude with a bike safari.
