Buurtcentrum de Wende is a multicultural community center in the Vinkhuizen district of Groningen. We organize various regular and occasional socio-cultural activities. Additionally, you can rent a room from us for training sessions or courses. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and outside these hours by appointment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who can make this multifaceted role their own. You will meet many different people and perform a wide variety of tasks. You can contribute many ideas yourself to improve De Wende. Do you have an idea for an activity or a handy tip regarding the layout or maintenance? We’d love to hear it!

Tasks and duties

We are looking for someone to assist with management at De Wende. This involves setting up rooms for activities, welcoming guests, opening and closing the building, cleaning, and similar tasks. Additionally, we would appreciate it if you could contribute ideas for possibilities.

Skills and qualities

No formal education, specific knowledge, or skills are required. However, it is important that you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and that you can work collaboratively.
