Do you enjoy bringing people together and creating a fun atmosphere? We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who wants to organize a weekly games afternoon for our residents.

Tasks and duties
With your commitment and enthusiasm, you help organize a fun afternoon for the residents. This involves a regular activity in the living room, where you play various games with 4-6 residents (and a few residents who come mainly for the social aspect). Think of shuffleboard, Rummikub, Triominos, but other games or creative ideas are also welcome! Variety makes it extra fun.
What are you going to do?
- Assisting residents while playing games.
- Ensuring a pleasant atmosphere and conversation.
- Optionally help with setting up game materials.
When?
- You are available at a fixed time: weekly on Monday, Thursday, or Friday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM/4:30 PM.
Skills and qualities
What do we ask?
- Affinity with the elderly.
- Patience, good company, and a little creativity.
- Reliability and enjoyment in organizing activities.
Additional information
You will be working at Zorgvilla Verdi, part of ZINN location De Dilgt. De Dilgt is an atmospheric and lively residential care facility in a green and rural setting offering a complete range of care services. In addition to a residential care center, the grounds feature several residential towers with care and rental apartments. In the Verdi apartments, residents live in spacious apartments receiving (very) intensive physical care.
